Requirements for Entry :


The Richard Tauber Prize is open to singers resident in the United Kingdom or Austria.

Applicants should be aged over 21 and not older than 30 as on 29 February 2008.

Candidates are requested to prepare a choice of one operatic aria, one Schubert Lied and a    third piece of their own choice. The total programme should not exceed ten minutes.

The closing date for applications is 29 February 2008.

All applications must be supported by two professional referees.

Registration fee for entry is £ 30.

 

Ferdinand Rauter Memorial Prize for Accompanists

This award, in memory of the founder of the Anglo-Austrian Music Society, will be awarded to the accompanist who, in the opinion of the jury, gives the best performance at the public final audition at Wigmore Hall on 4 June 2008. Accompanists do not need to submit a special application form.

 

 

The application form should be accompanied by :

Recent passport-size photograph

Copy of birth certificate

Typed CV (not more than two A4 pages) with details of training, concert or stage    performances, scholarships or prizes

Personal letters of recommendation from two professional musicians

Registration fee of £ 30 (cheque/postal order made out to Anglo-Austrian Music Society or    direct payment to AAMS bank account at Lloyds Bank, Sort Code 30-98-97,
   Account No. 0038837 - please add reference RT plus your full name)
